A few more of my favorites from this year's Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.



Fernando Pullum.........Adjudicator from LA. Cool guy.

Strange man hanging around with my Polish assistant, Kate. He turned out to be the President of the University working on his speech!

Jackie Ryan. Three and a half octave range! Really nice too.

All the guys. Wow, I love this. They are all so fabulous and they really do have as much fun as it looks like.

Interesting looking ladies who looked like they needed their picture taken. They turned out to be very powerful executives at the University. I think one of them even signs my pay check.

Henry, my old friend from UI days. He works at Vet Med WSU now. Wow have we got some stories.

Simba, that international man of mystery, puts a spell on Kate. We have made some music together lately and I look forward to more. He really is talented.

Little tourist trap in Paris. I tried to get Chris to try one of those cute outfits at the top but she said they didn't have her size. I think she could squeeze into one now!

Lulu gets a buzz!

The big adventure for the weekend. Sister Laura K. gets her hair cut........and sets a trend!

Grandma takes the plunge. Too bad since I think her hair has never looked better! What a sport she is. Always has been.

My son Michael, on a road trip we took together long ago. He was and still is as strong as he looks.

My father Don LaMoreaux, contacting the ancestors. He was strong in a different way.

I guess he is with them now.

I miss him so.

Monty Alexander!! what a cool guy with his latest reggae/jazz group. Amazing! And.....he was once married to Emily Remler.....fabulous guitarist.



Here is the drummer in Monty's band. I love the way he is so focused on his work.
